An important part of our work is charity
While our major cause is the Children's Hospital at Westmead (click through to their site via the Bandaged Bear at top of page), we also make it a point to help out wherever we can, including causes like the Lachlan King Foundation or benefit nights such as the ones for Reagan, Taliyah, or Flight for Sight, that we and other sporting clubs in the area support. Since early 2007, we had provided or assisted with raising approximately:
| Amount | Year | Charity/Organisation |
| $ | 30,000 | 2007 onwards | Children's Hospital at Westmead |
| $ | 22,000 | 2010 | Flight for Sight |
| $ | 18,000 | 2009 | Taliyah Benefit Night |
| $ | 10,000 | 2008 | Regan Lee Benefit Night |
| $ | 6,000 | 2009 | Movember |
| $ | 1,000 | 2009 | Lachlan King fundraiser |
| $ | 1,000 | 2009 | Tallowood Special Needs school |
| $ | 1,000 | 2009 | Victorian Bushfire Appeal |
| $ | 500 | 2008 | Breast Cancer Awareness Week |
| $ 89,500 | Total since 2007 | |
Club Players and Officials will be asked to assist with fundraising activities at the Teepee (Ettamogah Pub), including regular raffles. Raffles are run on Sunday afternoons to help support both the club and the Childrens Hospital Westmead. You will receive notification when it is your turn.
