New coaches for 2008

After a very successful 2007, the hunt was on to find coaches to continue our charge in the new year. The club is proud to announce the following appointments:

First Grade Coach - Murray Hooper

Murray has played all levels of Sydney Premier Club Rugby, including First Grade with Warringah. He has also featured in selection sides such as the Suburban Rugby Representative team in 2002. Murray comes to us after coaching Fourth Grade at Warringah Rats in 2005 and 2006, and as club coordinator for Third and Fourth Grade at Warringah in 2007. The Renegades eagerly look forward to learning from his experience at the top end of Sydney Club Rugby as we defend our title in 2008.

Second Grade Coach - Dan Adams

2007 Club Captain and 2nd Grade Captain for the Renegades, Dan "Full of Bull" Adams steps into the coaching role after many years experience both in Australia and New Zealand playing rugby. Dan's playing history in New Zealand includes NPC for South Canterbury, Representative experience for South Island sides in Colts and Senior Regional, South Island Maori Colts, and the Emerging Colts. After moving to Sydney Dan has played with several clubs including a stint at Liverpool, before joining the Renegades in 2007.

Second Grade Assistant Coach - Aaron Rynehart

Aaron Rynehart continues the Assistant Coaching role he held after serious injury sidelined him part way through the 2007 season. With and eye for the tryline or points from the boot, he is another captain of the Renegades 2nd Grade side and in addition brings his experience with clubs Dundas Valley and Epping to the Renegades for 2008.
